MEET OUR PASTOR
Dartanyan T. Jamerson
Lead Pastor
Pastor Dartanyan T. Jamerson is our Lead Pastor. He provides Spiritual Development, and Biblical Leadership to the overall Greater Faith Baptist Church body of believers and the surrounding community. He is “The People’s Pastor”.
He accepted his call to the ministry in 1998 during an intercessory prayer service at the New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church in Flint MI, where his godfather, the late Bishop Odis A. Floyd, was Pastor.
Known affectionately as “Pastor DJ”, he strives to make disciples for Christ through teaching, preaching, and living the word of God. As a result of his community advocacy and mentorship, he has impacted the lives of hundreds of young men and women who all graduated high school. Then many continued to (but not limited to) enter the military, earn skill trade certifications, and earn Bachelor’s, Masters, and/or Doctoral Degrees.
Pastor Jamerson holds an Associates of Arts Degree and Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Leadership & Ministry from Grace Bible College, and a Master’s Degree in Ministry (Theology) from Grace Christian University, and is an active Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
He is the proud husband to Shawnta, and father to Jasmine(Kentucky) and twin brother Justin(Michigan), Dartanyan Jr.(Texas), Christian, and bonus daughter Jarielle (Michigan).
